I am the not-so-proud owner of a Remington R3130 shaver (see my review, not so kind), and while the shaver cut pretty good it had a fatal flaw. The individual cutters were removable from above, and while shaving they could suddenly pop off. This was especially true when in a humid environment (like a bathroom). I thought once the cutters wore out I would throw it away and try another brand, or search ebay for one of the older better-designed models. Well today I found this replacement head made for this and other models, bought it locally, and WOW, what a difference! First of all, it's ONE PIECE! No more cutters to fly off. Secondly it has dual-track cutters, so it shaves faster and closer than previously. Lastly the one piece design allows the whiskers to fall in the compartment underneath better instead of clogging directly under the cutting wheels. Oh, and I almost forgot, replacing the old head took about 5 seconds, just lift the old one straight up at the hinge and slide...
