For the last 2 weeks I've been testing 3 shavers, the Panasonic ES-LA63-S, the Braun Series 7 760 Pulsonic, and this Braun Cruzer 6 Face. I have always used a razor but I am simply sick and tired of having my face ripped up. I'd say my beard is pretty average.

I tested 1 day, 2 day, 3 day and 5 day periods in between shaving (cutting the 5 day back with the Cruzer trimmer before shaving). I shaved one side of my face with the Braun Series 7 Pulsonic and the other side with the Panasonic. Bear with me here, I'll get to the Cruzer 6 in a minute.

Shaving dry, the Panasonic is slightly, but noticeably, better than the Braun Series 7. Overall, dry shaving with either of those two is good enough for me, and my four year old daughter, who has become my beard tester, pretty much says daddy doesn't need a shave afterwords. I rate the dry performance of these two roughly 87% to 90% of a razor shave.
