Electric Clothes Pill Shaver Fuzz Lint Ball Remover
Works great, but only shortly - needs step up converter
It's probably my own fault for ignoring the information in the photo and product features: the required voltage for this pill shaver is 220V, and the transformer is not included. Which means, as is, it would maybe only charge properly in Antigua and Thailand. I'm still on the fence about buying a converter (that would be another $7.49 for the simplest 50 Watt Step Up Converter - 50% of the price of the shaver alone), so this review is based on using this shaver in the US without a converter.
Pros:
- it (eventually) does the job
Cons:
- it does not work plugged in (once the battery is flat)
- after 10-hour charge, it only lasts about 10-15 minutes
- the pill container is very small, difficult to remove, and needs emptying very often (otherwise the shaver slows down and doesn't work)
- when it works, it's brutal - great on acrylic, but wouldn't risk putting cashmere...
